Wonderfully Mysterious Fireworks

From left to right: Ainu, Breeze, Eiden

Breeze did not know what to expect when he had walked into the safe room that evening. There were lots of fellow aeniama sitting around and chatting. It seemed that Ainu and Eiden were going to do some interesting games and then dazzle everyone with an illusion of what the humans liked to call 'fireworks'.

It was a long night, with everyone chasing each other around. Breeze even got tackled by a couple of foxes in the game of Pounce (tag). It was not long after the game ended that Ainu and Eiden settled everyone down in a group. It was then that the light show started.

It was amazing! Various colored lights danced across the ceiling of the safe room, in what seemed to be random patterns and colors. It was during this that Ainu and Eiden explained that like the ever changing fireworks, life kept changing, and one could not always know what to expect from it. And, just as how life could be dangerous, so could real fireworks if one did not know how to use them correctly, but just the same, both the fireworks and life could be magnificent.

So, I totally cheated on the background, which is why I'm putting it as simple. I used several of my firework pictures and then messed around with them in Photoshop Elements to get the background. I then blocked in the characters in Sai and lined them by locking the layer. After that I did Eiden's smoke hair stuff and Ainu's kitsune-bi fox-fire. Yes, I totally watched all 13 episodes of Kamisama Hajimemashita that Hulu had up yesterday. Lol.
